Sun-date with Nyx!

Today, we went to see the doctor. Its so upsetting how merchants set up a website only to mislead people. You go to their websites with hopes of getting only accurate information about their products and services. As I have narrated in my last post, I caught my son's eye infection.. So, I have to secure a medical certificate.. Just for the heck of it, I opted to just have the check up done in Well Point Clinic @ Sm Bacoor. I tried calling their number but to no avail, I got no response. So I checked out their website to check the doctors' schedule. Eye doctor was supposed to be available @ 4 PM. It was clearly stated here. So Nyx and I went there only to find out that no eye specialist is available during Sundays. That's not what the website said. I held on to my patience.. I didn't want to start a scene with my son.. So I just decided to wait until tomorrow for Nyx's check up @ Perpetual hospital. We went to Jollibee (as usual, since its Nyx's ultimate favorite!) , and since I badly need medical certificate, I decided to walk back to the clinic and check if we can just consult with a family physician. We were accommodated and I got what I needed for Php 100. It just feels really bad that I wasn't able to see an eye specialist. I still need to go back for check-up tomorrow perhaps..

Doctor said he can go to school na tomorrow. But I'm worried that he may still spread the infection. So maybe, I'll let him rest some more tomorrow.  Here's how he looked like:

Notice the left eye.. its not too well yet.. :( But I'm glad his better.

We were supposed to see a movie but Oggy is not showing anymore at SM Bacoor, so we opted to just eat @Jollibee. I bought all his favorite meal in Jollibee. I made sure he'll enjoy our date. :)

We must do this more often. Mother-son date. I super enjoyed it! :)

Nyx and I don't usually spend quality time together ( I mean, just the two of us! coz we go out a lot! ) .. Often, we go out with Erick as a family. It feels great to be given a chance to spend this time with my son. I guess, it allows me to know him more since I am focused on him. No distractions. He shares stories I don't usually hear when we go out in three's.

This infection is somehow, a blessing in disguise. I feel closer to my son and I feel great as a mom.
